Description

El Gancho is a procedural hook-based 2D platformer where you'll jump, swing and shoot to save the cocos!

Inspired by roguelites like Spelunky and the 90's title Commander Keen, El Gancho adds a fast-paced hook movement, new mechanics, randomly generated levels, tough bosses and handmade challenges.

The story involves a species of little golden lizards named Cocos, who have been kidnapped from their home, trying to escape from the clutches of the evil Pogovon empire that want to use them to power up their deadly weapons. Can you swing your way out? Can you destroy those super weapons? Can you save all the cocos?

Swing across the place with a superb techno-synthwave soundtrack. Wipe out enemies with your trail or with bouncy bullets and upgrade your Coco to destroy dangerous bosses in your way to save your friends!
